Fundraise
To spread the word and raise much-needed funds, the Trust and its supporters stage a series of fund-raising events and evening events such as the Mall Galleries private view.
We have had sponsored walks - the Windsor Walk was a very successful sponsored event organised for several years by Sue Bell, formerly one of our Trustees and now a member.
Fundraising is boosted by the inspired efforts of such individuals as the Kidney Research Ladies Darts League, a group of Essex ladies who have raised over £230,000 since the League was founded in 1988.
Some gifted supporters have also raised funds for the Trust through the sale of their handmade products, such as flower arrangements and designer knitwear.
We have had supporters taking part in a triathlon; a mountain bike challenge; a cycle ride from Land’s End to John o’Groats, and one brave soul trekked the Great Wall of China.
Coffee mornings are always popular, and there are many more ways you can make a difference.
We also take part in the London Marathon
St Peter’s Trust for Kidney, Bladder & Prostate Research has bought a Golden Bond, which entitles it to five runners each year. If you are interested in running in the marathon contact Katy (katyhenderson@nhs.net) in the trust office. Participants are asked to raise a minimum of £1500. T-shirts, sponsorship forms and fundraising information are available from the office. Even if you are not able to run yourself, please do sponsor our runners.

We are still collecting used postage stamps so please send us any you have- no matter how old! Funds are raised by weight of stamps collected and therfore do not need to be special or interesting stamps, even boring first and second class UK stamps are welcome.

Many of you reading this already give to us generously and we are always trying to think of new ways to make it easier. Those of you who love to shop online might also be interested in the following ways in which you can support us.
We recently joined a fundraising service called Donate As You Spend (DAYS). This charity is run by volunteers and provides a service "to allow customers the freedom to donate money to their chosen charity through everyday spending, without cost to themselves." There are many ways to participate and full details can be found on their website www.days.org.uk. Please take the time to have a look.
Similarly, Everyclick lets you fundraise in six different ways for your favourite charity - go to www.everyclick.com for more information.

How about getting a group of friends together for a meal and raise money for the Trust at the same time? A new website, www.dinner4good.com, makes such an occasion easy for a host to organise, guests to participate in and a charity to benefit.
Simply select St. Peter’s Trust from the website’s list of charities and dinner4good will automatically send email invitations to the list of guests that you provide. Guests can accept the invitation and donate via the site, which helps you keep track of who is coming as well as the total that has been raised. It also takes the hassle out of collecting sponsorship money!
So why not give it a try?
